The "StuffPlug" Menu Entry on the Menubar

Thursday 16 November 2006, 08:47

Hi.

If I remember correctly from a preview screenshot from way back then,
StuffPlug 3 will have a menu on the right of "Help" labeled "StuffPlug 3".

It's a good idea for SP to have its own menu for quick access and control to SP.

(I remember back then with the old SP, you'd have to open the Plus! menu, then go into Messenger Plus!'s preferences first, then go to Plugins or something, then select SP, etc. etc. etc..)

However, I do hope the menu entry's text itself won't be "StuffPlug 3".

I think it's a little too long, and space consuming.

For those of us who typically keep Messenger at a small width,
it'd become very annoying with the Menubar going to 2 lines all the time.

If it's still what the screenshot looks like,
then I suggest changing the text to "SP3".

Thanks for your time.

I am pretty sure there is also a button like Plus! Live and MessengerDiscovery Live have.

Yeah, that's the one!

As seen in the screenshot,
the entry for SP is "StuffPlug 3".

While it's very, um, complete,
it's kinda very wide in terms of horizontal space.

I usually keep Messenger as slim as possible. (basically, exactly the width of the menubar)
That's why I hope it'll just say "SP3", which is very compact.
