Hi
Has anyone suggested having like datestamp along with integrated into StuffPlug? It would be something like this, [Wednesday 7th March 2007 - 12:33:07] or, [03/07/07 - 12:33:07] Thanks in advance. This post has been edited by braudrist: Mar 7 2007, 02:51 AM |

For the custom timestamp feature?
I'm pretty sure that people would know what day it is, and don't need to be reminded every message. Timestamps are mainly just to show what time the message was sent at, not to remind users what time it IS. But I don't see why this wouldn't be to hard to add. I'll add it to the comprehensive list |

As far as I know it should be possible, but I'm afraid I can't say I'd ever use it!

Thanks for the replies, guys.
I forgot to mention that datestamp should be in the conversation window. I think it would be nice to see for example if you are away few days and you come back to your computer and you see a message, it would be convenient to see the date along with the time you recieved the message. But maybe it's not that important feature as you say |

It's probably simple enough to add, but do you really want so much space used by a timestamp, before the < Contact says: >
It would take up a whole line just for the time and date stamp, so by the time a message is sent it'll be taking up 3 lines on its own. |

my pc is on 24/7, so this would be good for me
but maybe not the whole date. that would be to long... how about: [Wed 15:43] Contact says: I´m sick, so I wont come to practice [Wed 15:50] Bob says: ok, get well [Thu 16:18] Bob says: feeling better today? maybe even no day untill 24 hours have passed since the first post (this should of course be optional) [15:43] Contact says: I´m sick, so I wont come to practice [15:50] Bob says: ok, get well [15:18] Bob says: feeling better? [Thu 15:45] Contact says: A little, thnx |
