That was one of the best feature in Stuffplug2 so I really hope that it will come back to version 3.
Another thing that would be nice is to turn off the code replacement with smileys like  .Thanks anyway for a good messenger plugin. Havent got it working on Live Messenger yet but It'll come I'm sure |

The "replacing default emoticons with custom ones" has already been implemented and will be in the next version released.
