Dear Stuffplug / forum people,

Everytime when I open Windows Live Messenger ( the latest version), I get an error saying: Loading Stuffplug 3 failed. Would you like to disable it?
Yes/no.

Wether I chose yes or no, the following error comes which sais: Could not open key for deleting!

I already deleted Stuffplug in the program files, and I reinstalled WLM.
Please help me, this is really anoying and I don't know what to do!

Sincerely,
Matthijs

Do you have msacm32.dll in your Messenger folder? If you do, rename it and that should stop it from trying to load StuffPlug.

msacm32.dll Is on my pc, but not in the messenger folder.
And when I want to change it, I can't because Microsoft won't allow me to do it. It's some kind of audio-related file.

More advice? sad.gif

Are you using Vista? And if it's not located at %programfiles%\Windows Live\Messenger, where is it?

Yeah, you don't want to be changing that DLL unless it's in the messenger folder. The one in the messenger folder is a method that stuffplug uses get started with messenger. The other one is a real system file.
