so should i just re-install stuffplug to get it to open...cause when i open wlm 09 i get this cute little message box saying "FATAL ERROR: Unable to load nessasary Windows Live Messenger libraries" with a taskbar title entry saying 'StuffPlug3'. then "Loading of StuffPlug 3 Failed! Would you like to disable it?"

If it were officially dead there would be an official announcement about it no doubt. Some software is released once every 3 years, or more! 15 months is nothing to be complaining about.

i do appreciate that but considering how quickly microsoft releases new versions of messenger if you take 3 years to get this compatable with 9.0 then by the time of release the build will only support an obsolette version of messenger, i therefore thought that developement would move a little faster considering its for the messenger platform.

Messenger has an entire team working on it (who are getting paid to do so); StuffPlug has three people who have personal lives jobs and aren't paid to build it.

StuffPlug is dead in its current form. TB said that somewhere on this board.
"Project M" is, however, not dead.

I think they're referring to the post where TB said that.

psycho_maniac: search the Latest News or Development Blog to find that post.

You guys should read what TB said in his blog answering to me:
I hope that TB doesn't get mad because me posting this here... this maybe will avoid people to get excited about something is going to not appear... like Calyp says...

theres just a two simple things id like to see with WLM9, the editable name and boosted character count, would these be possible through scripts?

My favorite feature in StuffPlug was the time zone clock set for each contact appearing below their display picture. That thing was one of the best features ever, since I have friends all around the world, and I should be constantly mindful of the(ir) time. I wonder if that's not too difficult to embed into the latest WLM...

And I can't find a plugin out there that has that same feature, either. It's a real shame. I really miss StuffPlug.
